Trying to rectify the issues with Scribble

Hi Everyone,

So here's the story.

Fast paced, half checked code leads to an endless amount of potential errors.

I've been working on fixing the actual architecture for the server over the past few days.

If anyone cares to stick it out with me go for it, and you'll be happy I can promise you that.

I built Scribble with the purpose to help other developers get off the ground.
Thanks,
Frank N.

Thank you DigitalOcean!

Hi Everyone!

Glad to be able to speak with you all right now. Turns out I hit a hard spot today when the entire server Scribble sits on decided to hit a kernel panic! "If you don't know what that is look it up."

Thanks to Josh from DigitalOcean Scribble is back up and working.

I have to say that was a very stressful afternoon, but you learn what you should probAbly do.

BACKUP!!!!
Have a nice day everyone.

Dev Updates

Hi Everyone,

I've been a bit busy with work, and have been keeping up with Scribble as much as possible.
I've had a few outages that I've fixed within a few hours. What I'm trying to do to remedy this is redesign a bit of the design for Scribble server code. At the moment I restart Scribble over night to give it a fresh startup.

Dev Updates

Hi Everyone,

Due to high server costs I decided to now host Scribble inside my home. It might be a little slower from now on because of this, but it should only be like this till I find another solution for hosting.

Scribble Users should now connect to a proper alias name

ws://ws.franknatividad.com:1035/YOURCHANNEL

This will give it a more direct location instead of a raw IP address as I was doing before. I'll be shutting down the old server tonight and hope to see everyone on the new one!
